Buried Under the Blue’s mission is to preserve the history of the displaced communities of Palo Verde, La Loma, and Bishop through an Indigenous platform that bridges the past and present. We do this by providing historical context, sharing oral histories, offering education and community services, fostering community building, advocating for environmental justice, and leveraging technology. Our goal is to empower and educate all people to create healthier, sustainable communities while maintaining historical documents for self-determination.
